STRATEGIC PLAN
The Board of Directors approved a 3 year strategic plan for Operation Access in January 2008. An operations plan has been created for 2008 to support the long-term objectives with 4 driving strategies:
- Arrange donated diagnostic, surgical and specialty services that provide access to care and strengthen the safety net for low-income, uninsured people in the Bay Area.
- Promote medical volunteerism while continuing to expand and enrich the local OA network of volunteers, hospitals, clinics and other health facilities.
- Help other communities address the unmet needs of low-income, uninsured persons through collaboration, technical assistance and replication.
- Strengthen organizational capacity to maximize results.

Vision: To help bridge the healthcare gap in the Bay area while becoming a national model for medical volunteerism.
