OA provides donated outpatient surgeries and specialty care that are medically necessary and elective
(non-emergency). Surgical procedures are limited
to those in which the standard of care allows for same
day discharge (outpatient surgery).
The most common Operation Access procedure
is hernia repair, followed by a wide variety of specialty
procedures.
