Marisol Ponce de Leon, Program Coordinator

Marisol joined Operation Access in 2006 as a Bilingual Program Assistant to handle patient referrals, screen patients for eligibility, assist with surgery sessions, perform administrative duties, and other organizational support. In her current position as Program Coordinator, Marisol is a Case Manager for Contra Costa County and coordinates patient care within the county. In addition, she does financial reporting & accounting, maintains & develops the OA website, and provides IT support to the OA staff. Prior to joining OA, she served as a Staff Assistant/Donor Services/Intern Coordinator for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington, DC. Marisol is a native of Massachusetts and eventually made her way out to the west-coast by way of Minnesota and DC. In 2003 she earned a B.A. in International Relations from Carleton College in Northfield, MN.
